The City had a sewer spill on August 16, 2008. We repaired a broken force main at Kades Cove Subdivision off of Cartersville Hwy. Approximately 8,000 gallons of raw sewage went into Pumpkinvine Creek. Our crew pumped and cleaned entire area. We reported spill to the EPD. As of July 1st the City of Dallas will have a Rate increase for Water. We have received as increase from Paulding County and unfortunately will have to increase our rates. For more information, please call City Hall (770) 443-8110

THE CITY OF DALLAS AND PAULDING COUNTY IS UNDER A TOTAL OUTDOOR WATERING BAN

The City of Dallas will issue a $50 fine to homeowners and businesses for a 1st Offense, 2nd offense will be a $150 fine, if not paid in 5 days, service will be disconnected and an additional $50 reconnection fee will apply, 3rd Offense will be $350 fine  and result in immediate disconnection of water and considered a misdemeanor and handled by law enforcement.

The City of Dallas has adopted an Ordinance that requires all contruction sites to white line areas that need to be located prior to calling the Underground Utility Protection Center.

The City of Dallas is having a problem with Sewer Manholes overflowing due to grease build up in our sewerlines. We ask that our Citizens and Businesses dispose of Grease appropriately. Grease can stop up the lines and cause the manholes to overflow, then in some cases raw sewage flows to our creeks and streams. Please help in preventing this from happening.
